On May 19th, about 50 alumni, friends, and family gathered at the Lao Embassy to celebrate Asian American Pacific Islander Heritage month by learning how to make samosas, dumplings and spring rolls – a sampling of South, East and Southeast Asia – from fellow alumni Aneesh Raghunandan ’11, Xuan Nguyen ’10, Song Song  MA’08. The event was hosted under the auspices of the Yale Club of Washington, DC, with the support of Board member Gena Lai ’95, and Bert Tzeng ’94; with support from the DC chapter of the Association of Asian American Yale Alumni.
