About the Event
Organized through Shedd Action Days we will predominately sweep the rocky shoreline and surrounding park for trash and possibly do some invasive plant removal.
The exact park meetup location will be emailed to RSVPers. Please update your RSVP if you can no longer come.
Please note:
- Due to the nature of the work, they suggest wearing closed-toed shoes and long pants.
- Bring a reusable water bottle with water and sun protection
- This is a community action day and not just for AAAYA/ Yalies so they have a limit of 10 people for our group but there will likely be more people there than just our group.
- To be inclusive of other community members, we cannot wear coordinated clothing (matching group shirts etc).
