Your ticket will include appetizers during cocktail hour and a meal with musical performances from Specially Processed American Me by Jaime Sunwoo YC '14 and Illegal by Sita Sunil YC '19 and Skyler Chin YC '19. Join our auction, which will feature special items donated by author Min Jin Lee YC '90, visual artist Benedict Scheuer YC '14, ceramicist Jacqi Lee YC '14, and chef Lucas Sin YC '15.

At this year's gala, we are excited to honor Weili Cheng YC '77, who will be retiring this year after more than seven years as executive director of the Yale Alumni Association (YAA) and many years of service to the Yale community.

Any funds raised through this gala will go towards our $10,000 fundraising goal to support our annual summer Mary Li Hsu Community Service Fellowship, which provides funding to Yale College students to work with NYC-based Asian American-centered organizations in social services, civic engagement, and the arts.

FAQ

Are children allowed to attend?

Yes  this is a family friendly event and children under 5 can attend at no cost. Children aged 5-12 will require their own ticket, priced at  $100. Children older than 12 will require an individual adult ticket. 

Is the location wheelchair accessible?

Yes, the event will be on the 2nd floor and there is an elevator from the lobby to the 2nd floor.

What if I have dietary restrictions?

Please  refer to the menu posted on the registration page. The banquet will be  served family style so we will not be able to accommodate individual  dietary restrictions. However, if you have purchased a table, we may be  able to adjust the menu to accommodate your parties dietary  restrictions.

Will there be parking?

We strongly recommend taking public transit or Uber/Lyft, as parking in Chinatown may be difficult, but you can find nearby parking lots here: https://goo.gl/MbsrJH.

Will there be alcohol?

There will be a cash bar at the event where alcohol can be purchased.
