October 17, 2009, was a busy day for the New York City AAAYA chapter: Alumni volunteers returned to the Yung Wing School (our May 16 Day of Service site) and joined other New York Cares volunteers for a day of gardening, painting, organizing, filing, and helping the school in many other ways; Yale sophomores learned about Asian-American community issues at the Urban Justice Center; and Alumni and students joined together for dinner at Red Egg in Chinatown to discuss career planning and life after Yale.
Thanks to all of the alumni volunteers who made this great day possible!
